Since we were in San Diego, it seemed rude not to visit the world famous San Diego Zoo. We spent the afternoon walking round; its a huge place and we must have walked for miles. They had elephants, giraffes, big cats, camels, pandas, polar bears, meerkats and loads more. My favourite was the giraffes, there was a baby one out the front and he was so small and cute! We had lunch up in the treehouse cafe which is built high up on stilts in the trees, the sun was shining and it was lovely. They had tour buses and a skyfari which takes you from one side of the park to the other, we had a go on this! After the zoo we went to the hairdressers to sort out Paul’s wild mane, and whilst we were there I opted for a facial since I have no good products with me and my face was really dry. Paul had his first experience in a salon, a step up from Godfrey’s in Farnborough!
