This morning we boarded a ferry at 11am to go to Alcatraz. Paul and I visited The Rock in 2011, it was one of our favourite tours so we decided to go again so the girls could hear the story of how the prisoners escaped. Jess really enjoyed the tour but Summie didn’t like it and wanted to leave.
Afterwards we went to the Peer 39 shopping area. We saw about a hundred sea lions sunbathing on floating rafts! We got some lunch, did some shopping then headed back to the hotel to relax for the afternoon. We had dinner at the hotel, went back to the park and finished the evening with some Ben & Jerry’s ice cream!
