We arrived in Orlando yesterday evening and went straight to bed of course 🙂 So this morning we were up bright and early for breakfast at Denny’s, a diner that sells sausages and bacon with syrup on top. Don’t worry we did not eat this but it was fascinating to see.
We then took a trip on the I-Ride Trolly, Orlando’s solution to ferry around the masses of tourists. Why they call it a trolly I have no idea but it is definitely the happiest bus I have ever seen, it literally has a smily face painted on the front!
The hotel we are staying in has a lazy river so we spent the afternoon chilling out, sorry guys but yes it was very hot but also windy. After an afternoon siesta we got back on the I-Ride to the nearest Sizzler restaurant. As we were in the neighbourhood we ended up in the Wonderworks museum (the upside down house) which was pretty good. A 4D theatre and high ropes course were inside along with lots of games, gadgets and weird and wonderful activities.
A Bloody Mary and Beer in the hotel bar listening to a pianist play Starwars music (haha) was about all the excitement we could handle for one day, so up to bed ready for an early start at Sea World.

Sounds like you’ve packed it in already, can’t believe you’ve done so much in 2 days and that you went on that ride Aim! We had a good old chuckle about Shamu (I would’ve thought the same!). This is fabulous, we’ve all been reading it this morning, and looking at the pictures so must get off and do some work now, enjoy whatever today brings and will be in touch at the weekend.
